Daufuskie Bluff

The Gateway to Daufuskie

The original developers of Melrose(Daufuskie Island Resort) chose departure from Hilton Head Island when they built the resort back in the 1980’s.  Although this served them well, it was not the fastest connection to Daufuskie Island.  In fact, the out of state traveler had to take a much longer car and longer boat ride to finally arrive on Daufuskie Island.  It would have been much faster and easier to leave from the Savannah Riverfront.  Perhaps the next chapter for Daufuskie may include access this way.

Daufuskie Bluff is an idea for Embarkation

We have a property and an idea that we would like to share with the forward thinkers, future owners and planners of Daufuskie.  Daufuskie Bluff is beautiful acreage located at the end of the Haig Point Road(past Marshside Mamas at the end of the pavement).
