If you have never been to the Island or never heard the story it goes something like this: On Hilton Head Island we have protected our trees way before development really cranked up. Our century old live oaks, palmettos, magnolias, pines and all the other trees are considered one of the town’s most valuable assets.  Hilton Head Island put in place a plan, after all, they are our breathing buddies!

It took me 4 years to sell a house.  Let me explain.  This was not just any house, it was my home.  It had my sons feet and hands and even Granma V’s feet and hands pressed into the new concrete drive when it was built in 1998.  It had notches marked into the bookshelf as our boys grew into teens(and some friends too).  Many happy memories were made in this home and we loved it. It could be a town-home, it could be on the third floor, no matter the shape or size they are all called villas here on Hilton Head Island. Just like our marinas are Harbours, spelled with an “our” and management companies are called regimes, we like to be different.  And a villa sounds good, but what is it really?
