The Front Nine Vacation Itinerary on Hilton HeadThis itinerary offers golfers that are vacationing on Hilton Head Island the very best courses with the most famous holes to play.  These courses are part of  The Ultimate 18 Hole Golf Course on Hilton Head.  Have fun, swing easy and let us know what you think!

Day 1 – Check in day.  This is a great day to hit the range before the big week.  Good thing you booked all your tee times when you made your reservations at Hilton Head Properties R and R.

Day 2 – First day out on Harbour Town Golf Links.  This is one of the most celebrated courses on the PGA Tour.   Harbour Town is home to the RBC Heritage this year from April 10-16.

Day 2 – Second Day out on Oyster Reef Golf Club in Hilton Head Plantation.  Oyster Reef is one of Brown Golf’s eight courses in the Hilton Head area.  Hole #6 is one of the top holes on the Island.

Day 3 – Robert Trent Jones in Palmetto Dunes is known for it’s famous 1oth hole that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean.  This hole is a big par 5 that usually plays into the wind.

Day 4 – Back to Palmetto Dunes to play the Arthur Hills Golf Course.  Designed as a link course, many holes play along the 11 mile lagoon.  Hills number 12 is a par 4 that plays along a pond and you will want to stay left.

Day 5 – Sea Pines Heron Point (previously Sea Marsh) was totally redesigned a few years ago and offers a great finishing hole.  Number 18 runs 300 yards along the pond that guards the entire left side.

Day 6 – Last day before heading home.  This is a great day to re-play one of your favorites or head to the beach!  A custom for many visitors on the last day is watching a Sunset at the Quarterdeck or Old Fort Pub!
