Hilton Head History repeats itself

The beautiful weather, preserved natural beauty and abundance of amenities that attracted us to the Island is more than just a few perks we enjoy. It also helps contribute to the fact that historically Hilton Head Island is an area that has started recovering first in recent recessions. Hopefully, history will continue to repeat itself.

Hilton Head Building Permits increase

According to the S.C. Realtor’s Association, Hilton Head Island is on pace through the first four months of the year to meet or exceed the 2010 real estate sales. 2010 sales increased 16.1% from the previous year.  Likewise, new single family home building permits are on the rise. Hilton Head Island new single family homes building permits have increased 40% compared to the first quarter of 2010.
