Rental Demand is Strong on Hilton Head

The business for long term rentals has been excellent this past year. We experienced a banner year. The demand for long term rentals continues to be strong, partly because people are moving to the area and property owners are losing property to forclosures and short sales. Many owners who once had equity built up in their homes are now finding themselves without the appreciation that many home owners used for purchasing second homes or toward a primary residence, making renting a home a matter of necessity.

We need more homes to rent on Hilton Head

We feel that the demand for rental properties  this Summer will increase and the lack of inventory will make it difficult for prospective renters to find a home that meets their needs. We are seeing the average the length of a rental period increasing from the traditional 12 month lease to longer terms, as buyers need more time to save for purchasing a home.

Buy a Hilton Head Home now and rent if for later
