Sellers Make up Losses when buying
Sellers sometimes are fearful when they look at how much they are selling their current home for when they think about replacing it with something equal or better. The answer to this fear is that sellers can make up losses when they buy in the same market. Below a friend recently sold his home and moved to North Carolina and realized savings even though he sold for less!
Moving in the Same Market
As you know two years ago I moved to Pinehurst NC after almost 20 years living on Hilton Head Island. Libby and I purchased a newer, larger, brick, golf front home on a ¾ acre lot for $200,000 less than the sale price of our lakefront Hilton Head home. Do you have a home listed that would sell, with a price reduction, allowing the owners to join us in the Pinehurst area? It is a wonderful friendly community. Good shopping, dining, weather, golf, tennis, arts/music and superior health services. Also scenic lakes and boating and 2 hrs. to the coast.
What does $400,000 get you in Pinehurst
Example: A 3BR, 3 1/2 BA, built in 2002 golf front brick home on an aprox ¾ acre lot is listed at $395.000. It has vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, granite counters, manicured grounds, plantation shutters, 15×15 deck, 2 car + golf cart garage and a propane powered aux. generator. The home is just down the street from us in Pinewild, a gated golf community. This is only one of many great opportunities in the area. Just listed is a 4 BR on fenced 4 ¾ acres with stocked lake. Only 10 minutes from town! You can contact Lloyd Amundsen if you are interested, tell him Robbie sent you.
