		Hilton Head Island named in 2014 “10 U.S. Islands Where You Can Beat the Winter Blues” by Fodor’s Travel Hilton Head claims its fair share of outdoor activities (most notably golf), but this island has more going for it than most when it comes to cultural opportunities and upscale restaurants. After a day of beach-biking, tennis, or kayaking, catch a performance by the Hilton Head Choral Society, the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra, dance, or theater at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina.
		Hilton Head Island has been chosen as one of the Top 10 Islands in the U.S. by voters in TripAdvisor’s 2014 Travelers’ Choice Awards. Long known as a golfer’s paradise, Hilton Head Island is heaven for any type of sports enthusiast. Tennis, volleyball, polo, championship golf on some of the best fairways in the United States – those are just a few athletic options.
		Bluffton named a top retirement spot in 2014 by ForbesBluffton has made Forbes magazine’s list of the top 25 places to retire. The magazine’s website gives the following pros for the town: “Scenic waters, warm climate, good state tax environment, average home price $197,000, low crime, highly walkable.”
