Hilton Head Island now offers over 53 miles of public bike paths, 50 miles of private bike paths and over 12 miles of hard pack sand for biking. How does it get any better?  The town has recently been adding more bike paths and informational kiosks around the Island. These kiosks offer information about nearby parks, beach access and areas of interest.

Exercise is on everyone’s mind especially right now.  Fortunately we live on Hilton Head Island and have everything we need.  With 230 days of average sunshine, subtropical winter temperatures from 49 – 63 degrees and natural beauty surrounding us, we really are lucky.  All you need to do is believe, take the first step outdoors and keep the motion going. The town’s founding fathers were green before this term was ever discovered. In the design of the Island and the many communities on the Island, Hilton Head was planned with over 80 miles of bike paths.  These paths weave throughout the Island and invite our residents and visitors to step outside and breath.
