Oh say can you see the 4th of July Fireworks on Hilton Head Island?  Listed below are some awesome places to watch the fireworks in the Hilton Head Area.  This years 4th of July firework displays will take place in Harbourtown, Shelter Cove and Skull Creek Marina!  Watch the horizon and see how many you can see!

Hilton Head 4th of July Fireworks

    • Harbour Town’s 4th of July Fireworks – Children’s activities, food and drinks with a fireworks display around 9:15 p.m. There is a gate fee to enter the resort and a free shuttle service from several parking lots throughout The Sea Pines Resort.     • Shelter Cove’s July 4th fireworks – Located at Mile Marker 8 off of William Hilton Parkway.  Performances by Shannon Tanner will begin at 6:30 and 8 p.m. and fireworks will start at dusk.  Between these events, guests can enjoy the food  and arts and crafts.  There is no charge to walk around.  The Palmetto Dunes Buggy will continue running until after the fireworks are concluded.  800-827-3006  More details
    • Skull Creek Community Fireworks at Hudson’s – Outside entertainment beginning at 6 p.m. with food and drinks available for purchase. Fireworks from a barge on the Intracoastal Waterway at 9:30 p.m.
    • The town of Port Royal and the Historic Port Royal Foundation are hosting fireworks starting at 9 p.m. at The Sands of Port Royal. The celebration includes food booths, vendors, entertainment, face painting, water slide, bounce houses and more.

Off the beaten path…places to watch the 4th of July Fireworks on Hilton Head Island

    • Daufuskie Island – It’s amazing to watch the Hilton Head Fireworks from the beach on Daufuskie Island.  Bring your lawn chairs, put your feet in the sand and let the kids have a blast.  These are front row seats to the HarbourTown fireworks.
    • Up the Creek Pub and Fish CampA great location to watch the Shelter Cove fireworks and in the distance see Harbourtown fireworks.
    • Calibogue Sound and Broad Creek– If you have a boat or a friend with a boat, the center of Calibogue Sound or Broad Creek offer incredible vantage points to watch all 3 locations.  You will even be able to see distant fireworks because you are in the Low Country.  Outside Hilton Head offers a 4th of July Kayak tour as well!
    • Harbourtown 18th – Go to the shoreline of the 18th Fairway and you will discover one of the best vistas for Harbourtown and Shelter Cove Fireworks.
    • South Beach at the very end of our beach – At the end of the beach where the sand stops and the entrance to South Beach Marina enters from the Calibogue Sound is a great place to watch Harbourtown Fireworks.  You just need a friend that lives or is staying in Sea Pines.
    • Palmetto Bluff – From here you can watch all three firework displays in the distance.  Make dinner reservations at Buffalos!
    • Alljoy River Landing  – Travel to Bluffton, one of the top 10 place to retire and go to the waters edge at Alljoy and watch the Island Fireworks

Other events for the 4th of July on Hilton Head Island

July 4th 2019   – The 31st  Annual Hilton Head Island Firecracker 5000 Road Race and Fun Walk will be held on July 4. The Firecracker 5000, is the largest and oldest road race in Beaufort County.
