Contrary to popular belief, summer is not the biggest selling season on Hilton Head Island.  While the Island is busier, the agenda for families visiting Hilton Head during the summer is rest, relaxation and time with their families.  Even if they are considering buying property in the area, their family time is too valuable to go real estate shopping.  This also gives them a good excuse to return again in the fall!

Recently we have come across some rippin deals on Hilton Head and Daufuskie Island for our out of state buyers.  The only problem is they are out of state.  What we have found is that for the low cost of a flight and a great hotel room on the beach, we can save our buyer clients thousands of dollars and more importantly help them tie up the property of their dreams.  Recently we had a buyer discover from our Free MLS Update that we offer a perfect property.  The only problem was she was there and we were here.  While we have sold homes, villas and lots sight unseen, sometimes a seller will let us lock in to the property before arrival. Most purchasers would rather drive by a property before ever calling a real estate agent.  Now with the internet, purchasers and agents can save gas, money and time. In fact, purchasers can now stand on the street with Google Earth,  they can map the location with our MLS, they can take  a visual tour of the property and they can even review comparables without ever leaving their home or office.  We have found because information travels so fast that the first thing to do once you discover a property you like on the internet is to notify your Hilton Head REALTOR ASAP.
