Activity has been brisk in the Hilton Head Real Estate Market at a time when sales are typically slower. Confidences have been on the increase and buyers recognize some of the best discounts by purchasing in December and January in the Hilton Head Area.  Add the post recession pricing, great properties and low interest rates and these could be very strong sales months ahead.

When it comes to Hilton Head home sales this summer, buyers are not waiting for their next trip.  There has been a 25% increase in home sales on Hilton Head Island this June compared to last year’s June.  Off Island(over the bridge), home sales jumped a whopping 53% over the same month last year.  All bets are off as inventories start dropping and interest rates start moving…in the meantime, Happy House Hunting Hilton Head!  Read the rest of this entry

Now may be the time to re-deploy assets back into the Hilton Head Island real estate market. Personal use is still the single best reason to own property in the Hilton Head area, but declining supplies and increased buyer activity may bring appreciation back into certain segments of the market.  This is fueled by available interest rates and a limited supply.

It all starts with a listing and a REALTOR.  We are closing this week on a Hilton Head Property and it’s absolutely amazing how many people have been involved in the sale.  Real Estate creates jobs.  From the time a listing is signed to the final closing this small event is a ripple in our economy that turns into waves.  Some of these jobs are evident, but hang on for the Tsunami.  We have identified 70 jobs from the first property sold.  Imagine the ripple effect.
